Chi Fan for Charity, an annual charity dinner, has graciously donated a grant of 50,000 USD to our Wheels for Life program, a community health project providing a mobile medical van for affordable and accessible medical treatment to vulnerable populations.
On June 11, Chi Fan for Charity declared United Foundation for China’s Health and Morning Tears as the two organizations that will be sponsored for the 2014 event. Chi Fan for Charity is an organization that hosts small-scale fundraising dinners in the best and largest restaurants in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Recognized by The Beijinger as 2013’s Outstanding Party of the Year, Chi Fan for Charity annually hosts an elaborate meal, a selection of wine and other fun activities for participants, who in turn donate directly to the organizations being sponsored. The funds have previously supported missions such as the Little Flower Project, Educating Girls of Rural China, and other local NGOs. This year’s dinner will be held on November 8, 2014. UFCH thanks Chi Fan for Charity for their generous contribution and support!
